ScreenCycle Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
ScreenCycle is a Chrome extension that rotates through the tabs of a browser window on a timer.
This policy explains what the extension does and does not do with your information.
Data we collect
ScreenCycle does not collect, store on any server, sell or share any personal or browsing data.
The extension does not read the content of the pages you open.
Data stored on your computer
Your settings, such as display times, refresh options and the addresses in your playlist, are saved only in your browser on your computer.
They never leave your computer unless you export them yourself.
How the permissions are used
Tabs: to switch between tabs and to match the address of each tab with your own settings.
Storage: to save your settings in your browser.
Alarms: to keep the rotation timer running.
Idle: to notice when someone uses the computer, so rotation can pause; no input is recorded.
Third parties
ScreenCycle does not send data to any third party and does not include analytics or advertising.
Changes
If a future version changes how data is handled, this page will be updated before that version is released.
